What we do
Not every project is a kitchen or a bathroom. Sometimes it is a brick fireplace you are tired of looking at, a blank wall that should hold cabinets and shelves, or a laundry room that needs a better floor. This page covers that work, along with bigger updates that run through several rooms.
We are Aaron and Ava, a father-daughter remodeling team based in Appleton, and we are on the job site every day. We have built custom cabinets and lit shelving for a client in Menasha, refaced fireplaces, and handled drywall, painting, window replacement, French doors and finish work.

Cabinets and shelving built for the room and the wall they sit on. The Menasha hangout room has custom-built cabinets, full shelving with integrated lighting and a bank of drawers.
A new face for a fireplace you are tired of. We have taken one from brick to stacked stone and refaced another, which now has white shiplap above a dark wood beam mantel.
Board and batten, trim and the finish carpentry that makes a room look done. One bedroom in our gallery has a black board and batten accent wall.
Drywall installation, drywall repair and painting, including exterior painting. They are part of most remodels, and we also take them on as jobs of their own.

Handyman services are on our list, so you do not need a big project to call us. The laundry room in our gallery has black shaker cabinets, a white quartz top and a black and white patterned tile floor.

See all projectsA client in Menasha wanted a cozy spot to kick back with friends and play games. We built a wall of custom cabinets with full shelving and integrated lighting, and the open shelves are backed with antique mirror glass tile. The finished unit is dark gray, with lit glass-door cabinets and a bank of drawers below.
We took this wall from brick to stone and installed a new fireplace. The finished wall is stacked stone with a black gas insert, a dark rustic wood beam mantel and a raised stone hearth. Aaron posted it in 2023.
This fireplace was one piece of a larger project that also covered a full kitchen remodel and hardwood floors. The refaced fireplace has white shiplap above a dark wood beam mantel, a whitewashed brick surround and black glass doors.
