What we do
Most of the floors on this page went in as part of a bigger remodel. On one full kitchen remodel we refinished the existing hardwood and installed new hardwood to match it. In a loft, very dark wood flooring came out and natural light wood flooring went in. In a bathroom, we took out the old tile, sanded down the floors and put in new white and gray tile.
So the work falls into three groups: hardwood that needs refinishing or matching, new wood and wide-plank flooring, and tile floors in bathrooms and a laundry room. Matching is the careful one. Wood species, board width and finish all have to line up with the floor you already have, so we go through your floor with you at the walkthrough before we quote it.

These photos are from condos we were finishing up in Egg Harbor, one of the jobs that took us a bit farther than the Fox Valley. The great room has wide-plank light wood flooring, a dark teal fireplace wall and white French doors. A bathroom from the same set has large-format floor tile.
