What we do

Bathroom remodeling: what we do

A bathroom packs a lot into one room: tile, plumbing, a vanity, a countertop and glass. It is our specialty and Ava’s favorite kind of project. We love the work, especially new tile in a shower.

We are a father-daughter team based in Appleton, and we work across the Fox Valley. We help you sort out the layout and pick materials. Then we build it: tile showers with niches and benches, tub surrounds, vanities with quartz tops, tile floors and glass doors.

What we are after is a bathroom that lasts for years, not months. Quotes are free. Call or text Aaron at (920) 850-1010 when you are ready to talk about your bathroom.

We work in Appleton, Menasha, Fox Crossing, Neenah and Greenville, and nearby.

  • Tile showers

Walk-in and corner showers in the tile you choose. Showers on this page include dark green fluted tile, white marble-look tile with a black mosaic band, and dark slate-look tile on the walls and floor.

  • Niches and benches

Recessed niches with glass or quartz shelves, some lined in mosaic tile. Built-in and corner benches, including quartz-topped ones.

  • Tub surrounds

Keeping the tub? We tile around it. One of ours has herringbone tile on the back wall, stacked tile on the side wall, a recessed niche and matte black fixtures.

  • Vanities and quartz tops

Single and double vanities, quartz tops, and undermount or vessel sinks. The vanity at the top of this page is dark stained wood with a white counter, set against a gray and white chevron tile wall.

  • Tile floors

Bathroom and shower floors in hexagon tile, mosaic, large-format tile and river rock. The tub bathroom on this page has a black hexagon tile floor.

  • Glass shower doors

Frameless hinged and sliding glass doors to finish the shower. They are usually one of the last pieces to arrive and install.

The green tile bathroom

The dark evergreen ceramic tile is fluted and covers one wall of the corner shower, next to white vertical stacked tile, two corner shelves and a frameless glass door. Outside the shower are a white rectangular sink on a dark open-leg vanity, a round mirror and a black floating shelf. Aaron posted these photos in August 2026.

This walk-in shower has white marble-look wall tile with a black glass mosaic accent band. Inside are a corner bench, a recessed niche and a herringbone mosaic floor, behind a frameless sliding glass door on a matte black rail. The black vanity in the same bathroom has a cream countertop, a floral glass vessel sink and a matte black faucet. Aaron posted these photos in February 2024.

In progress: oak double vanity and taupe tile shower

These two photos show a bathroom in progress, not a finished one. They are from September 25, 2026, the day the quartz went in. The double vanity is light oak, shaker style, with a white quartz top and two undermount sinks, and the walk-in shower has glossy taupe tile stacked vertically, a recessed niche, a quartz-topped corner bench and a hexagon mosaic floor. At that point we were just waiting on the glass shower doors, usually one of the last pieces to arrive.

Review shared on Facebook · Master shower · 2025

A shout out and review to @agcontracting_ for their amazing work to our master shower! This father & daughter team is hard working, extremely knowledgeable and honest. Aaron & Ava were timely in their plan and communication was top notch. They were tidy all the way through to the end! The end result was beyond our expectations. Ava is very skilled in offering different design options and shared her past work. This young lady is nothing short of impressive. She took each river rock stone off the individual sheet. She then placed every single one by hand to its resting place. This added placement for color and shapes to be spread perfectly.

Questions about bathrooms

How long does a bathroom remodel take?

Plan on 6 to 10 weeks. If everything is planned ahead of time, the longest wait is usually the glass shower door. The sooner it is ordered, the sooner your bathroom is done.

How much does a bathroom remodel cost?

It depends on the size of the room and the materials you choose. We go through it with you at the walkthrough and put it in your quote. The quote is free.

Can you help us choose tile and plan the layout?

Yes. Aaron helps with the layout and with materials, including where to get them. Ava can walk you through design options and show you her past work. We have also worked with a designer on customer projects.

Who will be working in our house?

Aaron and Ava are on the job site every day. We are a small, family-run business, and Aaron also brings in subcontractors he trusts. His advice to anyone hiring a contractor: “make sure you find one that is on site all the time and involved in the process of your project.”

What happens if you find a problem once the walls are open?

It can happen in any bathroom, especially around an old tub or shower. Aaron’s take: “Remodels always come with surprises. The difference is in how your contractor communicates and fixes them.” So if we find something, you hear about it from us, along with how we plan to fix it.
