Meet Aaron and Ava

A father and daughter, on your job site every day

AG Contracting & Remodeling is Aaron Gullickson and his daughter Ava. We are a small, family-run business based in Appleton, and we are on the job site every day.

Ava’s favorite projects are bathroom remodels, which is a good thing, because we do a lot of them. Aaron’s advice for anyone hiring a contractor is the rule we work by:

“When hiring a builder/contractor, make sure you find one that is on site all the time and involved in the process of your project.”

Four steps

How a project goes

  1. Step 1: Free walkthrough and quote

Call, text or send the form. We walk through the space with you and talk about what you want. The quote is free.

  2. Step 2: Plan and materials

We help you settle the layout and choose materials, and Aaron can suggest where to get them. If the job needs a permit, this is when we take care of it.

  3. Step 3: The build

Aaron and Ava are on the job site every day. Remodels come with surprises. If we find one, you hear about it from us, along with how we plan to fix it.

  4. Step 4: Final details and cleanup

The last pieces go in. In a bathroom that is usually the glass shower door, one of the last things to arrive and go in. Then we clean up.

Common questions

Not answered here? Call or text Aaron at (920) 850-1010.

Do you give free quotes?

Yes. Quotes are free. Call or text Aaron at (920) 850-1010, or send the form on this page, and we will set up a time to look at the space.

Who does the work?

Aaron and Ava are on the job site every day. When a job needs another trade, Aaron brings in subcontractors he trusts.

How long does a bathroom remodel take?

Plan on 6 to 10 weeks. The longest wait is usually the glass shower door, one of the last pieces to arrive and go in, so the sooner it is ordered, the sooner the bathroom is done. For kitchens and other rooms it depends on the size and the materials, and we go through it with you at the walkthrough.

Do you handle permits?

Yes. As Aaron says, “A trustworthy remodeler takes care of them for you.” We go over what your project needs at the walkthrough.

Do you take small jobs?

Yes. Drywall repair, painting and handyman work are all on our list. Call or text Aaron and tell us what you need done.

Can you help me pick materials?

Yes. Aaron helps with the layout and can suggest materials and where to get them. Ava can walk you through design options and show you her past work. If you already have a designer, Aaron has worked with one before.
